Genre And Sub-Genre

Genre means a category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, characterized by similarities in form, style, or subject matter examples of a film genre is 'Thrillers'


A Sub Genre is a specific type in a film for example the sub genres of a 'Thrillers' are romantic, supernatural,horror, comedy, actions etc.

The sub-genre which inspires me the most is an Action Thriller as it gives me a lot of action to look forward to and also entertains me.

This is a good film opening as it is an upbeat tempo opening. its creates adrenaline to the audience, it might help us on our thriller opening as it has a very good portrayal of the main opening conventions. my group can use a few of the ideas of how the opening scenes. if we decide to do an opening on an Action Thriller.
